Chief Legal Officer mandate

Set the legal strategy and framework for the Bank aligned to the corporate strategy, assess, and manage the legal and regulatory environment pertaining to the business of the Bank. Through operationalisation of the strategy supports the legal recovery process with the focus being the minimisation of losses.
Establish policies and procedures to regulate the operations of the Bank.
Develop an operating model to provide Legal guidance across all matters throughout the Bank.
Responsible for the document management system to ensure efficient and secure record-keeping across the organisation.
