Carina is a true business leader.

A respected thought leader, with a broad range of academic and other publications and a regular speaker both locally and internationally. She has won many awards, including, SADC country winner for Financial Services in the Most Influential Women in Business and Government Awards 2019, Gender Mainstreaming Awards Corporate and National Positive role model 2020, African Legal Awards General Counsel of the year 2020 and In-house Community In-house Counsel of the year South Africa 2023, Legal500 GC Powerlist 2024. In addition to her advisory role, she has served as non-executive director (NED) on various boards and audit committee member and chair on public service institutions and private companies for almost two decades and continues to serve as NED on several Alexforbes companies.
